How to Prepare for Your First Visit

We believe cost should never be a barrier to dental care. That's why we work hard to make the financial side of your treatment as clear and stress-free as possible.

We accept most major dental insurance plans and will pre-authorise your coverage before any treatment begins, so you know exactly what's covered and what to expect out of pocket before we proceed. We don't like surprise bills either, so we make sure you don't get those.

For any treatment not covered by insurance, we'll discuss your options openly and work with you to find a payment arrangement that fits your situation. Have a question about coverage? Call us by clicking below.

COMMON QUESTIONS FROM NEW PATIENTS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will my first appointment take?

Your first visit is typically longer than a routine check-up — usually 60 to 90 minutes. This gives us the time to conduct a thorough examination, take X-rays, and have a proper conversation about your oral health without feeling rushed.

Do I need to bring anything?

Yes — your insurance information, a list of any current medications or allergies, and any recent dental records if you have them.

What if I have dental anxiety?

You're in good company. We have a lot of patients who feel nervous about dental visits, and we take that seriously. We work at your pace, explain everything before we do it, and never rush. For patients who need extra support, oral sedation options are available.

Do you see children?

Absolutely — we love seeing the whole family. We recommend bringing children in by age one or within six months of their first tooth appearing. Our team is experienced with young patients and works hard to make every visit a positive one.

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time.

It's okay. We see patients at every stage, and there's no shame in starting fresh. What matters is that you're here. We'll do a thorough assessment, explain what we find clearly, and work with you to build a plan that feels completely manageable.
